You were folding and organising all the dried clothes as you were lost in your thoughts.
Picking up his grey sweatshirt, you looked at it for a brief moment before sighing, you looked away from it.
Folding it slowly as well, you proceeded towards the wardrobe with folded clothes and kept them in a particular shelf.
Hanging all the leftover clothes in hangers, you arrange them in the wardrobe as well before shutting the door close. As you turned around, you saw him standing by the door, his eyes on you. You immediately looked away from him before you heard your phone ring.
You went to the nightstand beside your bed and picked it only to see an unknown number. You furrowed your eyebrows slightly at the sight but decided to pick up the call nonetheless.
"Hello?" You spoke after answering the call, more like questioning the other line.
"y/n!! Finally I found you!" You felt like you've heard this voice before so you inquired again,
"sorry but may I know who's this?" "you dumbhead you dare to forget your bestie" the person on the other line yelled and your eyes widened when the realisation hit you.
"haari!!?" You yelled back, still confirming.
"Yes I'm, you idiot! It's been a few years and you forgot me already??" she dramatically cried on the other line.
You sighed, "oh my god stop it haari and tell me where are you? And how did you suddenly-" "yes yes I know, let's meet and talk, come on, get ready and come at xxx cafe" she said.
"Wait- you're here?-" "no more questions just do as I said!" You agreed to meet her and disconnected the call soon after. As you kept your phone down and turned around, you saw there was no Jungkook standing there anymore.
You sighed as you went away to get ready to meet your best friend.

"Where is this girl?" You looked around your surroundings as you entered the cafe where you both were supposed to meet, but she was nowhere to be found. You slowed down your steps as you walked ahead looking here and there when suddenly someone jumped on you from the back making you stumble ahead as you let out a scream out of fear.
"Y/NNNN!!!!!" You heared another scream and you immediately turned around to find your best friend, haari, grinning like a small child who just got their favourite chocolate. Your eyes teared up, finally looking at her after so long as you whispered, "haari..." and hugged her ever so tightly that you could as she did the same.
"Hey, you both!" You heard a voice as if irritated, you both broke the hug to find the manager of the cafe looking at you both angrily. "You both are disturbing others! Slow down your voices, will you?!" He warned as you both apologised to him before he walked away.

"What the actual hell y/n????? And you've been actually dealing with all of this alone and since 1 freaking year?" You shushed your best friend as everytime you're telling her what you've gone through, she loses her temper and yells and you both are still in the cafe.
"Calm down haari, it's fine." You sighed, playing with the straw of your cold coffee. "It's not?? Shut up! That shi*ty husband of yours- I wanna kill him! How can he even-" "haari.. you don't know..." you trailed off while looking out of the window beside you before continuing, "I've been feeling so alone."
"Y/n.." she sighed before holding your hand, "love.. I know very well how you must have felt but listen to me!" She made you look at her before continuing, "you won't ever be alone from this very moment! I promise you, I'll always be there for you.
I'm sorry I wasn't there when you probably needed me the most but trust me, this time! I'll be right here." She spoke ever so softly that made your eyes glistened with tears yet again.
The feeling of someone being there for you finally, makes you overwhelmed by joy but at the same time it feels unreal. "You can cry, you know?" she uttered softly looking at your condition and that was enough for you to burst into tears, you couldn't hold them back anymore.
She immediately came and sat next to you as she was sitting across from you and started patting you gently before pulling you into a warm hug while you were crying your heart out without caring about your surroundings.
"Why does it happen to me haari? I gave my best and I still failed somewhere, maybe that is why it all happened." You cried in her arms.
"Shut the f**k up, it was never you! You understand? Let them flow darling, cry as much as you want because after this I ain't letting you! You gotta stay strong, not for anyone but for yourself!" she scolded you, still patting you.
You sniffed as you pulled away and wiped your cheeks clean as she helped you with it as well. "haari... What should I do now? He's confusing me." You mumbled looking down with your puffy eyes.
She sighed as she held your hands, "y/n, don't think much about him as for now. If you want, you can stay with me for a few days to clear your mind?" She suggested but you immediately denied, "no haari, I can't stay away from him.."
She sighed and nodded her head, respecting your decision. You both talked for some time and then decided to leave as it was evening already.
You both paid the bill and left the cafe, however as you were walking while talking to each other, someone bumped into you very hard and you stumbled a little and your handbag fell down along with the stack of papers which were in the hand of that Person.
Your eyes widened as you looked down until you heard your best friend yelling at that person.
"What the heck man, where are your eyes at??" And you finally looked up and you felt at a loss of words.
Your eyes met with each other and your best friend kept cussing the heck out of him for bumping into you and picked up your bag as well.
It felt like he was lost in your eyes because he couldn't take them away from yours. His eyes were as deep as the ocean and you felt like drowning.
"Let's go y/n!!" You didn't even know what were the things she said to him and were dragging you away from there. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled, looking at your figure fading away.

"Such a dumbhead, didn't even apologise." She huffed. "It's fine haari. Stop cursing him, will you?" You sighed as you looked out of the window. The light evening breeze felt nice.
You both were going back home, she insisted on dropping you off at your apartment and you agreed because you can't win against her.
Your mind went back to that man, who you recently bumped into. He had this ocean deep eyes, anyone can drown into. You shook your head, mentally scolding yourself to think about him. Soon, you guys reached your apartment. You insisted Haari to come inside but she denied saying she will, next time as she was getting late.
You walked inside your apartment only to meet with darkness and silence. You furrowed your eyebrows as you looked around trying to find the switch board but you couldn't as you were having a hard time due to darkness but after struggling for a few mins you found it and switched on the lights only to widen your eyes out of astonishment.
Your jaw dropped looking around the living room as it was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers all around and there was this trail of rose petals which indicated you to follow it and you did and it led you to the dining table only for you to meet with another surprise
There were various dishes which definitely looked delicious and were decorated all around the table. You were confused as to who did this all? Could it be...
"Happy 1 year to us y/n." You immediately turned around and a gasp left your mouth looking at Jungkook standing there with a bouquet of lilies in his hands along with a bright smile on his face.
